2014 – A Time For Reflection

3 Jan

2014 was a better year than I could ever have hoped for, but to be fair as it was the year I married my Beautiful Wife it is hardly surprising.I could not have asked for anything better in 2014 apart from my running which was very up and down.

I have however managed to get personal bests at both Stewarts Park and Albert Park parkruns this year with times of 23:35 and 23:04 respectively, and I was over the moon with this. My other aim this year was to improve my 10K pb at Middlesbrough 10K but I managed to fail miserably at this, but this was due more to a very bad year for accidents and injuries with broken ribs and achilles injuries! In hindsight, maybe I shouldn’t have run at all but I still enjoyed the day.
