February update

9 Feb

Just thought I would pop a quick update on here.

I’ve not managed to get out and run as much as I have penciled in on my running diary but that said I’m not doing too badly. I have managed to get to Stewart Park and do a couple of parkruns with my time ducking under 24 minutes this week, which makes me think it is going to be a good year (providing I stay fit and healthy). Today I have just been out for my longest run of the year (or any year), just over 10 miles and although I struggled a wee bit over the last couple of miles I really enjoyed it even if the bottoms of my feet are quite sore right now (one hour or so later).

I’m also hoping to keep this going and should hopefully be able to post that I have completed a couple of races in March and you never know a nice parkrun pb so early in the year would also be quite nice.

Anyway, hope everyone else is up and running and having a good time.

Lets see what the next 6 weeks brings, and thank you for reading 😉
